Phone numbers and email addresses present in the leaked data

According to reports, this data also includes personal phone numbers and email addresses. Apart from this, deleted data information is also present in the leaked data. Recently, Musk also talked on Twitter 2.0. He had said that the signup record of new users on the platform is at a high level and now the company is rapidly hiring new people. In such a situation, this event becomes more important.

Security expert Chad Loder first gave information about the news on Twitter. After this he was removed from the platform. He posted on Twitter that I have just received information about a major data breach involving Twitter users, which has affected millions of Twitter accounts in the European Union and the United States. He said in the post that I had contacted a sample of the affected accounts and they confirmed that the stolen data was accurate. Loader had said that this violation did not happen before 2021.

How was the data stolen?

The data also contained non-public information that was stolen using a Twitter API flaw that was fixed in January this year. Reports say that this data was collected in December 2021 by using the Twitter API flaw mentioned in Hacker One Bug Bounty Program.
