Parliament Winter Session 2022: The winter session of the Parliament is going to start from 7th December i.e. Wednesday. This time, all the veteran leaders of the Congress will not be seen in the winter session of the Parliament. According to sources, all the big leaders of the party including former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, senior leaders Jairam Ramesh and Digvijay Singh will not participate in the winter session.
Many big leaders of the party including Rahul Gandhi are currently busy in Bharat Jodo Yatra. Meanwhile, the winter session of Parliament is also starting. According to sources, the party leadership does not want people’s attention to be diverted from the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, so the high command has decided that many big leaders including Rahul will continue the yatra.
Suspicion on the presence of Sonia Gandhi
According to sources, this time Rahul Gandhi will stay away from the winter session of Parliament. There is also doubt on the former president of the Congress party, Sonia Gandhi, regarding her participation in the winter session. Party sources say that in order to give a free hand to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia is now thinking of distancing herself from party-related matters. This is the reason that she will not be seen leading the party in Parliament this time.
There will be a meeting on the leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha!
After Mallikarjun Kharge became the Congress President, choosing the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha is also a big challenge before the party. According to sources, party president Mallikarjun Kharge is going to hold an important meeting even before the winter session of Parliament begins. In this meeting, there can be a discussion about electing the leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha. In place of Kharge, P Chidambaram or Digvijay Singh can now be given this responsibility.
