The fight between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot has not been resolved! This message regarding the post of CM reached the Gandhi family

Gehlot Vs Pilot: Before the entry of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan, KC Venugopal definitely succeeded in cooling the heat of rhetoric going on between Gehlot and Pilot faction. Venugopal tried to give a message of solidarity by raising the hands of both the leaders, but according to the information received by ABP News from sources, the dispute between Gehlot and Pilot has not been resolved. The differences between the two leaders still remain.

According to sources, former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot is pressurizing the Congress high command to make him the Chief Minister. In the past, he was offered the post of General Secretary, for which he was not ready. Leaders close to Pilot claim that he was promised to be made the CM in the last one year.

Sources have told that in the meantime, Sachin has conveyed this message to the Gandhi family through one or two mediums that if he is not made the Chief Minister, he may even leave the party. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Pilot joins BJP or will BJP take him into the party?

What did the sources tell?

At the same time, ABP News has also come to know from sources that the results of Himachal and Gujarat elections will have a direct impact on the decision regarding Rajasthan. If the Congress wins in Himachal and does well in Gujarat, then there may be an attempt to find a middle ground in Rajasthan. Under this formula, a decision can be taken to replace Gehlot with someone else as Chief Minister and Pilot as General Secretary. However, even then it has to be seen whether Sachin agrees or not for less than the CM?

Where did the whole affair start?

The tussle between Gehlot and Pilot has been going on ever since the Congress government came to power in Rajasthan. In the year 2020, Pilot rebelled along with his one and a half dozen MLAs but returned home after due diligence. Although Pilot had to lose the chair of Deputy Chief Minister and State President.

After this, a stir started in the Pilot camp when the possibility of Ashok Gehlot becoming the Congress President arose in September this year. In view of the one person one post rule, a meeting of the Legislature Party was called in Jaipur to authorize the high command to decide the new CM even before Gehlot’s nomination for the party president’s election, but the Gehlot faction did not allow the meeting to take place. After this, Gehlot dropped out of the race for the party president. The wait for the pilot increased again and after that the rhetoric started.

Why did KC Venugopal come to Jaipur?

A few days later, raising questions on PM Modi calling Gehlot an experienced leader in a program, Pilot compared Gehlot to Ghulam Nabi Azad, who left the Congress. On the other hand, in an interview, Gehlot, referring to Pilot’s rebellion in 2020, afresh called him a traitor.

On the other hand, Ajay Maken resigned from the post of in-charge of the state, angry at the lack of action in the case of the rebellion in September. In such a situation, it was necessary to correct the atmosphere before Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Rajasthan, for which organization general secretary KC Venugopal had reached Jaipur.

Rahul Gandhi described Gehlot and Pilot as the strength of the Congress and after Venugopal’s visit, both the factions stopped the rhetoric for the time being but the internal dispute remains the same. Everyone’s attention is on making Rahul’s padyatra a success, but the biggest challenge is in front of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge because he has to take the most difficult decision after the results of the assembly elections and Rahul’s padyatra leaving Rajasthan.
