People are no longer liking to use VI’s SIM card, so many people left the company in October

This has been revealed in the monthly customer data report of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI for the month of October. According to the report, India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio, added 31.59 lakh mobile users in October 2023, while rival Bharti Airtel’s customer base increased by 3.52 lakh. On one hand, both the telecom operators have a large customer base, on the other hand, VI is continuously losing userbase.

According to TRAI data, VI lost 20.44 lakh wireless customers in the month of October. VI users are continuously leaving the company. A big reason for this is not launching the 5G network yet. 31.59 lakh new users joined Reliance Jio in October and its total number of customers has increased to 45.23 crore. Before this i.e. in the month of September, Jio had 44.92 crore customers.

The total number of Airtel users is this much

The number of subscribers of Sunil Mittal-led Airtel increased by 3.52 lakh in October and the total number of subscribers has reached 37.81 crore. Talking about VI, the number of Vodafone Idea customers has decreased to 22.54 crore in October. On one hand, VI is getting hit by the customers, on the other hand, the company is continuously incurring losses and is unable to repay the loan.

VI is bringing new plans to attract customers

Vodafone Idea is launching many new plans from time to time to attract customers. However, despite this, people are leaving the company. Recently VI has launched an annual plan of Rs 3,199. In this, the company gives users 2GB data every day, daily 100 SMS, unlimited calling and mobile subscription of Amazon Prime Video for a year. Apart from this, you get other benefits including weekend data rollover, binge all night.
