Usman Ghani tweeted, “After much thought, I have decided to take a break from Afghanistan cricket. The corrupt leadership of the board has forced me to take this decision. I will keep working hard and wait for the right management and selection committee. When there is a change in the leadership of the board, then only I will play for Afghanistan again. I am restraining myself from representing my beloved country.
He did many such tweets. Wrote further, “I tried to meet the chairman of the board several times. Visited several times, but I could not meet him. Apart from this, the chief selector did not have accurate answers on leaving me out of the team from all formats.”
Once that happens, I will proudly return to play for Afghanistan. Till then, I am recusing myself from representing my beloved nation

Afghanistan team will play ODI series against Bangladesh from 5th July
