Mohammed Siraj Injury: The last league match of the ODI World Cup 2023 is being played between India and Netherlands at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. After this match, Team India has to play the semi-final match against New Zealand on 15th November, before which the injury of Mohammad Siraj has increased the tension of the team. Actually, Siraj got injured while taking the catch and went out of the field.
Mohammad Siraj missed the catch on the ball of Kuldeep Yadav in the 15th over of the innings. That missed catch also injured Siraj. While taking the high catch, Siraj kept both his hands very close to the neck. The ball came out of Siraj’s hand and hit him straight near his throat, after which the Indian bowler appeared to be in pain.
After this incident Siraj walked out of the field. This incident happened on the third ball of the 15th over, when Siraj dropped the catch of Dutch batsman Max Oudoud on the ball of Kuldeep. The video of this entire incident was shared by ICC. The video also showed in slow motion how the ball hit Siraj on the neck while he was taking the catch.

Iyer and Rahul batted
Batting first in the match, the Indian team scored 4 wickets and 410 runs on the board in 50 overs. Although the top-5 batsmen for the team crossed the 50-run mark, but number four Shreyas Iyer and number five KL Rahul scored centuries. While playing an unbeaten innings, Iyer scored 128* runs in 94 balls with the help of 10 fours and 5 sixes. Whereas Rahul played an inning of 102 runs in 64 balls with the help of 11 fours and 4 sixes. Both of them made a partnership of 208 runs for the fifth wicket. This was the biggest partnership for India for the fourth or lower wicket in the World Cup.
