Rishabh Pant on return: Team India’s wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is not completely fit yet. He himself has said this. Just before the IPL auction, Delhi Capitals has posted a video of Rishabh Pant on social media. In this video, Rishabh Pant is seen answering many questions related to his recovery journey, return to the field and participation in the IPL auction.
Pant says, ‘Looking at what I was doing a few months ago, I feel good now (joining Delhi Capitals). I am still on the road to 100% recovery. Hopefully I will be back in a few months.
Last week, in a report quoting Delhi Capitals sources, it was said that Rishabh Pant will return to the cricket field from IPL 2024. It was also said in this report that Rishabh will regain match fitness by the last week of February and he will take charge of Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
‘Found out how much people love’
Recalling his recovery journey, Pant says, ‘It was wonderful. Whenever we are playing cricket, we feel that no one loves us. It (accident and recovery) was a very difficult time but at least I came to know that people love me and respect me. They are worried about me. This means a lot to me and it helped me a lot in my recovery.
Here. We. go 🔥
