‘Found out how much people love’
Recalling his recovery journey, Pant says, ‘It was wonderful. Whenever we are playing cricket, we feel that no one loves us. It (accident and recovery) was a very difficult time but at least I came to know that people love me and respect me. They are worried about me. This means a lot to me and it helped me a lot in my recovery.

The accident happened last year
Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a car accident late last year. He narrowly escaped death. Since then he has been maintaining distance from the cricket field. He had some surgeries at the beginning of this year and till now his rehabilitation program is continuing.
