Preparation for ODI series against South Africa begins, Team India sweats in net practice

India vs South Africa ODI Series: The Indian team has started preparations for the ODI series against South Africa. On Thursday, BCCI shared a video of Team India’s practice session. In this, Indian players are seen sweating profusely.

The Indian ODI squad consists mostly of the same players who were also part of the T20 series in South Africa. The rest of the players have also reached South Africa. The last match of the T20 series was played in Johannesburg and the first match of the three-match ODI series is also to be played here. In such a situation, all the players of the Indian ODI squad have gathered in Johannesburg.

These players practiced vigorously on Monday. Most of the players in the practice session were those who were not part of the T20 squad in South Africa. In the BCCI video, KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Sanju Samson can be seen practicing. Let us tell you that KL Rahul will be seen captaining Team India in this series.

ODI series will start from December 17
The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and South Africa will be played on 17 December (Sunday) at 1.30 pm. After this, the second match will be played on 19th December at 4.30 pm and the third match will be played on 21st December at 4.30 pm. After this three-match ODI series, the Indian team will play a two-match Test series here from December 26.

Let us tell you that the three-match T20 series between India and South Africa was tied 1-1. Those players of India’s T20 squad who are not included in the ODI team have left for South Africa to return to India.
