Asian Games 2023 Day 6 India: India has got gold and silver medal in shooting. In the 10 meter air pistol event, the Indian women’s team won silver, which was India’s first medal on the sixth day. After this, the men’s team did wonders and won gold in 50 meter 3P. Shooting continues to be a great performance from India.

The men’s team of Swapnil Kusale, Aishwari Tomar, Akhil Sheoran won gold for India in the 50 meter rifle 3P event. The women’s team trio of Isha, Divya and Palak won silver for the country in the 10 meter air pistol event. India has so far won a total of 15 medals in shooting. Along with winning gold, the men’s team also set a world record. Indian team scored 1769. Whereas China won silver by scoring 1763. Apart from this, South Korea won the bronze by securing third place with a score of 1748.

Talking about the women’s team, the trio of Isha, Divya and Palak won silver by finishing second. Gold was won by host China while being number one. The women’s Indian team scored 287 in the first round, 291 in the second, 286 in the third, 293 in the fourth, 286 in the fifth and 288 in the sixth.

India won 7th gold

India won its 7th gold medal so far. With this gold, India has moved from fifth to fourth position in the medal tally. Yesterday India was fifth in the points table of medals tally with 6 gold. But now the Indian team has defeated Uzbekistan to win another gold. Uzbekistan has so far won 6 gold medals. India is continuously seeing excellent performance in the Asian Games.
