Jasprit Bumrah on Test cricket: Jasprit Bumrah is one of the main pacers of the Indian cricket team. Bumrah plays all three formats for India. At present, Bumrah is the only bowler of the Indian cricket team who is included in the ‘A Plus’ grade category. Team India will start the five-match Test series against England from January 25. Meanwhile, Bumrah told that he was never happy with only white ball cricket.

Quoting ‘The Guardian’, Bumrah said, “I belong to the generation where Test cricket is king. I judge myself on that. I started with the IPL, but I learned bowling from first-class cricket. I just Was never happy with white ball cricket. Test cricket is the highest format.”

Bumrah’s test career has been like this till now

Bumrah made his Test debut in 2018 against South Africa in Cape Town. Now he has played 32 Test matches, in which he has taken 140 wickets at an average of 21.21 while batting in 61 innings. During this period, he has taken ‘Five Wicket Hall’ in his name 9 times. It is worth noting that Bumrah played his last Test match recently (January 3-4) on the South Africa tour.
