Anush Agarwal wins bronze medal in horse riding: The fifth day has so far proved to be much better for India in the 19th Asian Games going on in Hangzhou, China. India’s Anush Aggarwal succeeded in winning the bronze medal in the horse riding dressage (individual) event. In this event, the Malaysian player won the gold medal by scoring 75.780 points. The Hong Kong player won the silver medal with 73.450 points.
Anush Aggarwal of India managed to get third place in this event by scoring 73.030 and won the bronze medal. This is India’s first medal in individual dressage in horse riding so far in the Asian Games history. Earlier on the 5th day, India’s Roshibina Devi won the silver medal in Wushu and managed to win another gold medal in shooting. In the gold medal match of Wushu, India’s Roshibina Devi had to face defeat from China’s player in the women’s 60 kg weight category event.
India’s total number of medals in the Asian Games 2023 has now reached 25. This includes 6 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze medals. India is hopeful of increasing the number of medals in the coming days, with Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra expected to win gold.
Today India also has to play matches in hockey and football.
If we look at India’s schedule in the 19th Asian Games on September 28, the team also has to play important matches in football and hockey. In football, the Indian men’s team will face the Saudi Arabian team in the pre-quarterfinals. Whereas in hockey, India will face the Japanese team in Pool A. The football match will start at 5 pm Indian time. The hockey match is at 6:15 pm.
