India vs England Test: Former England cricketer Monty Panesar has given an important advice to the Indian team. He has given the mantra of victory to Team India against his own team. He has said that Team India will have to follow the path of Australia to deal with England in the upcoming Test series. He has tried to explain his point by giving the example of the last Ashes series.
While talking to News-18 Cricket Next, Panesar said, ‘I think England will play with a very aggressive attitude in this series. If the Indian team is surprised by this, then understand that they have not prepared well. They will have to be prepared for the aggressive attitude of England. They will have to do the same as Australia did in the last Ashes. The Kangaroos first saw what England was doing and then prepared a strategy with their stronger sides.
Panesar said, ‘The Indian team should first wait for England’s attack. They should see how it is. Only after this can he understand the strategy of the English team. Once he understands England’s game plan then he can achieve success. He may know how he can defeat the visitors.
Australia gave a strong reply to England
Monty Panesar gave the example of Australia here because last year the Kangaroo team had succeeded in retaining the Ashes trophy by holding England to a 2-2 draw. Here Australia challenged England’s playing style ‘Baseball’ in its own unique style.
