World Cup 2023: Australia captain Pat Cummins has revealed his favorite moment and wicket after winning the World Cup. He has described the wicket of Virat Kohli in the World Cup final as the most memorable moment of this World Cup. The World Cup final match of India vs Australia was played in the presence of more than one lakh Indian spectators in the world’s largest cricket stadium i.e. Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Virat Kohli’s wicket is the most memorable
When Pat Cummins dismissed Virat Kohli on that ground, it seemed as if not a single person was present there. According to a report in The Age, while asking a question about the World Cup 2023, a reporter asked Pat Cummins that at the age of 70, which would he find to be the most memorable moment of the World Cup 2023, about which he would always think. In response to this question, Pat Cummins said that “Virat Kohli’s wicket in the final will be the best moment of my life, which I will remember even in my last moments.”
Apart from this, Pat Cummins has revealed one more thing about that moment. The Australian captain said, “After Virat Kohli’s wicket, we went into the hurdles, and then Steve Smith said, ‘Everyone be quiet for a second, and realize that this place is so quiet right now, like a library. “The 1,00,000 Indian fans were very quiet. I will always remember that moment.”

However, in the final match of the World Cup, Pat Cummins had decided to bowl after winning the toss, and at that time everyone thought that maybe his decision was wrong, but he proved everyone’s thinking wrong by becoming the world champion.
