Changes in Team India for South Africa Test series, KS Bharat gets place in place of Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan: There has been a major change in Team India for the two-match Test series against South Africa. Here, KS Bharat has been included in the Test squad in place of Ishan Kishan. Ishan Kishan himself had asked for a break from this test series. Therefore BCCI had to make this change.

BCCI has told that wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan had asked for a break from Team India due to personal reasons. Therefore, he is being released from the squad for the two-match Test series against South Africa. Wicketkeeper KS Bharat has been included in his place. He will be the wicketkeeping option along with KL Rahul.

Ishan Kishan made his test debut this year. He played his first Test match against West Indies in July. Till now he has played only two test matches. He has scored a total of 78 runs here at an average of 78. He also has a half century in his name. In contrast, KS Bharat also got the Test cap in the same year. He played his first test match in the Nagpur test against Australia. Bharat has played five test matches so far. Here he has scored 129 runs at an average of 18.42. He has proved to be very effective as a wicketkeeper. In 5 test matches he has taken 12 catches and one stumping.
