Security forces attempted to infiltrate near LoC in Jammu and Kashmir, one Pakistani terrorist killed


J&K Encounter: The Indian Army has foiled a major infiltration attempt by Pakistani terrorists last night. While infiltrating through Bhimber Gali near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have killed a Pakistani terrorist while taking action. The security forces are on alert at this time and the search operation is going on. Weapons and explosives have been recovered from the slain terrorist.

Defense Ministry spokesman, Lt Col Devendra Anand said, “On the night of November 25, 2021, a Pakistani terrorist tried to infiltrate along the Line of Control in the Bhimber Gali sector of Jammu and Kashmir.” He said- “Alert Indian Army soldiers successfully foiled the infiltration attempt.” “One Pakistani terrorist has been killed. The body of the terrorist along with arms and ammunition has been recovered. The operation is still on.”

Three TRF terrorists killed in encounter in Srinagar

Earlier, three terrorists, including a self-styled commander of ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF) terrorist organization, wanted in the recent killing of civilians in Srinagar, were gunned down by security forces on Wednesday. The officers provided this information. He told that the encounter went on for some time in Rambagh area of ​​the city. He said that three terrorists, including self-styled TRF commander Mehran Shalla, were going in a car which was stopped by the security forces.

Officials said when the terrorists tried to escape, they were gunned down by the security forces. Besides Shalla, a resident of Jamalta area of ​​the city, two other terrorists were Manzoor Ahmad Mir and Arafat Sheikh. Both of them were residents of Pulwama. Officials said that the terrorists were associated with TRF, an affiliate of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He said Mehran’s security forces were on the lookout for the killing of several civilians, including the shooting of two teachers inside a school in Srinagar’s Idgah area last month.
