Winter session of Parliament: The opposition is busy cornering the government over the lapse in Parliament security on December 13. There was a huge uproar on this issue on Tuesday. Opposition MPs have also been suspended from both houses of Parliament. The opposition is very angry on this issue also. On Tuesday (December 19), opposition MPs raised slogans and raised questions about the suspension of MPs. They also raised slogans regarding the lapses in the security of Parliament.

Amid the ongoing uproar in Parliament, 49 opposition Lok Sabha MPs including Supriya Sule, Danish Ali, Manish Tiwari, Shashi Tharoor were suspended from the winter session. In this way, 141 opposition MPs have been suspended from Parliament so far. The winter session started from 4th December. During this period, 14 MPs were suspended last Thursday, 78 MPs on Monday and 49 MPs on Tuesday. The current winter session is going to end on December 22.

The country’s largest opposition party Congress has accused BJP of breaking democratic rules. Congress says that through suspension of MPs, BJP is easily getting important bills passed without any hindrance. Congress said that democratic norms are being thrown into the dustbin by the autocratic Modi government by suspending the MPs. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned on Tuesday after the uproar.

At the same time, the winter session of Parliament on Wednesday (December 20) is also expected to be turbulent. Opposition MPs are expected to raise slogans on this issue. On the matter of lapse in security of Parliament last week, the opposition is demanding that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah should come and give statements in the House. So much uproar is being made on this issue. After the suspension of the MPs, the controversy has increased even more.
