‘What is happening in India’, PM Modi returned from America and Egypt tour, asked Nadda at the airport itself

PM Modi returned from US-Egypt visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India late on Sunday (June 25) night after his five-day visit to America and Egypt. This visit of the Prime Minister was historic in many ways and during this many agreements were signed. On landing at Palam airport, BJP national president JP Nadda and Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi welcomed PM Modi. Along with this, all the MPs of Delhi were also present to welcome the PM. On meeting JP Nadda and party leaders at the airport, PM Modi had a question ready for him.

According to the PTI report, BJP MP from Delhi Manoj Tiwari told reporters that PM Modi asked Nadda ji how things are going here. Nadda ji told him that with the report card of the (central) government’s 9 years, the party leaders are reaching out to the people and the country is happy. BJP MP Pravesh Verma, who arrived to welcome the PM, said that the PM asked what was happening in the country and how the party’s public outreach program was going on. We informed them about this.

PM Modi’s visit started on June 20

Prime Minister Modi went on his first state visit to America on 20 June at the invitation of Joe Biden and Jill Biden. In New York, he led a historic event at the United Nations Headquarters on the 9th International Day of Yoga on 21 June. After this PM Modi reached Washington DC, where Biden welcomed him at the White House. The two leaders held a historic summit on 22 June, following which PM Modi addressed a joint session of the US Congress.

This was PM Modi’s second address to the US Congress and he became the first Indian Prime Minister to do so. On Thursday (June 22), Biden hosted a dinner at the White House in honor of PM Modi, which was attended by members of the US Congress and diplomats as well as businessmen and celebrities. During the US visit, several major deals were signed between the two countries to promote cooperation in key areas such as defence, space and trade.

PM reached Egypt on Saturday

After completing his visit to America, Prime Minister Modi reached Cairo, the capital of Egypt on Saturday, 24th June. His two-day state visit to Egypt at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was the first bilateral visit by an Indian prime minister since 1997. PM Modi held talks with President Al-Sisi on Sunday to discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries with a focus on improving trade and investment, energy ties and people-to-people ties .

PM Modi received the biggest state honor in Egypt

In Egypt, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given the biggest honor there. President al-Sisi awarded Modi with the ‘Order of the Nile’, Egypt’s highest state honour. This is the 13th highest state honor received by Prime Minister Modi abroad.
