Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan refuted TMC’s allegations, said- ‘Waited for two and a half hours’

After this, the Minister of State for Rural Development denied the allegations on Wednesday (04 October) and said that she was in her office till late.

Denying TMC’s allegations, she told news agency ANI, “I was in my constituency yesterday (Tuesday). As soon as I got the information that TMC MPs wanted to meet me, I left everything and came to Delhi. I had given them time to meet at 6:30 in the evening.

She said, “I was sitting in my office at 6.30 pm. My personal secretary was first told that five people would meet me. Then, the TMC delegation told that there would be 10 people in the meeting.” Apart from this, Jyoti said that TMC leaders were also insisting on meeting the supporters accompanying the delegation.

‘The data was to be presented before the TMC delegation’
The Union Minister said, “I told them to put their agenda on the table, after that there will be a discussion with them. TMC alleges that the Modi government is withholding the funds of West Bengal. I wanted to present the data before the TMC delegation. UPA regime During the UPA regime, West Bengal got only Rs 14,000 crore, whereas the state was given Rs 54,000 crore in the last 9 years. In the PM Awas Yojana, Bengal got Rs 4,400 crore during the UPA regime, while we gave Rs 30,000 crore.”

‘Waited for two and a half hours’
Sadhvi Niranjan said, “If they really wanted to talk, they would have met me. TMC MPs are alleging that I did not meet them. I waited for two and a half hours and then after posting a tweet, I had to leave from there. .”

Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Giriraj Singh supported Sadhvi Niranjan and said, “Minister of State Sadhvi Niranjan kept waiting in the Agriculture Ministry till 8.30 pm, but no MP or minister came to meet her.” We gave more than Rs 2 lakh crore to West Bengal.
