Two goods trains collided in West Bengal, one driver injured, 6 coaches derailed
Train derailed: There has been a rail accident in Onda of Bankura, West Bengal, in which two goods trains have collided. After this many coaches got derailed. A driver has been injured in the incident while the platform and signal room have been damaged. The accident happened on Sunday morning. In which 6 coaches including one engine of two freight trains derailed.
The movement of trains on the Adra-Kharagpur branch was disrupted due to the incident which took place at around 4 am. According to local sources, another goods train coming from Bankura collided with the rear of the goods train standing on the loop line near Oda railway station. 6 coaches of two goods train derailed along with one engine.
The local people have saved the drivers. The question arises that how did the two freight trains come on the same line? At present, there is no response from the Railways yet.
