PM Modi in Lok Sabha: The five-day special session of Parliament has started. The proceedings of the Lok Sabha began at 11 am with the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that we are now bidding farewell to this historical building. Before independence, this house was the Imperial Legislative Council. After independence, it was recognized as the Parliament House.

The old building will inspire the coming generations

In his speech in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi said that it is true that the decision to construct this building was taken by foreign rulers. But we should never forget that my countrymen had invested hard work, sweat and money in the construction of this building. He said that even if we go to the new building. But this old building will also always inspire the coming generations.
