The religious city Ayodhya is improving! Lord Shiva, Hanuman, Sun God…after Ram temple, now 13 temples are being built for these gods and goddesses.

Ram Mandir: After the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya, preparations are now being made for the construction of 13 new temples. Out of these, 6 temples will be constructed inside the Ram Mandir complex, while 7 will be constructed outside the complex. Swami Gurudev Giriji, Treasurer of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has explained in detail about the plan for construction of the temple in the complex. He said that along with the work of completing the main temple, work on all the projects is currently going on.

According to the report of NDTV, the main temple which has been consecrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, currently has only one floor. Gurudev Giriji said, ‘Work is going on on the second floor, after which the work of Shikhar (central dome) is to be done.’ He further said, ‘Then work is going on on five major temples of Ram Parivar.’

13 Temples will be for which god?

Lord Ram is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Therefore, there should also be temples dedicated to Lord Ganapati, Shiva, Surya or Sun God and Goddess Jagadamba. Temples dedicated to four Gods will be built in the four corners of the main temple. There will also be a separate temple dedicated to Hanuman, the biggest devotee of Lord Rama. Work is already going on on these temples and the idols have been installed here. Now polishing work is done and finishing touch also has to be given.

Near Sita Rasoi, which is considered to be the kitchen of Goddess Sita, there will be a temple dedicated to Goddess Annapurna. Gurudev Giriji said, ‘There will be seven temples in a vast area outside the Ram temple complex. These will be dedicated to the people who took part in the life of Lord Ram. He told, ‘These temples will be for Saints Valmiki, Vashishtha, Vishwamitra, Devi Shabari and Jatayu. Jatayu had sacrificed his life for Ram.
