Telangana Election: Owaisi’s dominance continues in Hyderabad, AIMIM candidates leading on 4 seats

Telangana Election Results Live: Initial trends of vote counting for Telangana Assembly elections have arrived. In the initial trends of six assembly seats in Hyderabad, from where AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is the MP, his party’s candidates are currently leading in four seats. There are 7 assembly seats in Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency. They are- Malakpet, Caravan, Goshamahal, Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Yakutpura, Bahadurpura.

Owaisi’s party candidates have dominance in Hyderabad
BJP MLA from Goshamahal seat is T Raja Singh. All the remaining seats are held by AIMIM MLAs. This time also a close contest is being seen in the elections. According to the last 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, AIMIM got the highest vote share from Hyderabad parliamentary constituency. 48.6 percent people voted for the party. After that, BJP got 19.2 percent votes, TRS (now BRS) got 15.3 percent votes and Congress got 8.4 percent votes. A tough contest is being seen between AIMIM, BJP and BRS in all the assembly constituencies falling under Hyderabad parliamentary constituency.

Owaisi is Hyderabad MP since 2009
AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has been representing this seat as MP since 2009. In the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, BRS won 88 out of 119 seats in the state. Congress won 21 seats, AIMIM got 7 seats, while BJP could get only one seat. Now everyone’s eyes are on this year’s results.
