Farmer protest live updates: Farmers are ready to enter Delhi with 2,500 tractor trolleys for their already announced ‘Dilli Chalo’ protest on Tuesday i.e. today (13 February). It is being said that these farmers will reach Delhi from Sangrur in Punjab via Haryana.
Farmer leaders said their meeting with Union ministers on Monday (February 12) was “inconclusive”. The government was only giving assurance regarding their demand for MSP on all crops. The farmers, who have set up their base camp in Mahila Chowk village of Sangrur, have made preparations for their journey including stocking up on essential food supplies.
Farmers said, will break all the barricades in half an hour
At the same time, in view of the protests, Delhi Police on Monday imposed Section 144 in Delhi till March 12. Along with barricading, many other arrangements have been made on the borders of Delhi. Apart from this, farmers say that these measures will not stop them, because they will break the barricade in half an hour.
Many arrangements in Haryana to stop farmers
Authorities have sealed the state’s border with Punjab with concrete blocks, road spike barriers and barbed wire at several places in Ambala, Jind and Fatehabad districts to thwart the farmers’ Delhi march.
