PM Modi mentioned Manipur from Red Fort, said – the way to solution will come out through peace

PM Modi’s speech at Red Fort: Today the country is immersed in the celebration of Independence Day. On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolor for the 10th consecutive time from the ramparts of the Red Fort. After this, the Prime Minister addressed the countrymen from the Red Fort. On this occasion, PM Modi also mentioned Manipur which is facing the fire of ethnic violence.

Referring to Manipur, PM Modi said, for the last few weeks there was a period of violence in the North East, especially in Manipur, many people lost their lives. There was a mess with the respect of mothers and daughters, but there are reports of peace for the last few days. The country is with the people of Manipur.

Appeal to the people of Manipur to maintain peace

PM Modi further said, the people of Manipur have maintained peace for the last few days, take forward the festival of that peace. Peace is the only way to find a solution. The state and the central government are working together to solve those problems and will continue to do so.
