Revanth Reddy becomes the third Chief Minister of Telangana
Revanth Reddy took oath as the third Chief Minister of Telangana on Thursday (7 December). In this program organized at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, in the presence of lakhs of people, Governor Tamilisai Sundarajan administered the oath to Revanth Reddy and his cabinet colleagues.
Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with Revanth Reddy took oath as Deputy Chief Minister. Apart from these, Nalmada Uttam Kumar Reddy, C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, S. Dudilla Sridhar Babu, Ponguleb Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Sot. Konda Surekha, D. Anasuya Seethakka, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Krishna Rao and Gaddam Prasad Kumar have taken oath as cabinet ministers.
Veteran Congress leaders were present
Big leaders like Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Parliamentary Party (CPP) President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Deependra Hooda were present in the swearing-in ceremony. Apart from this, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, CPI General Secretary D. Raja also participated in the swearing-in.
Let us tell you that in Telangana the Congress leader had made the minister the head of his election campaign. Under his leadership, the party defeated the ruling BRS and won 64 out of 119 seats. After the formation of Telangana in June 2014, Congress government has been formed in the state for the first time.
