Parliament Monsoon Session Live: Lok Sabha membership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been restored. Lok Sabha Secretariat has restored the membership of Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi after the Supreme Court stayed the sentence of Rahul Gandhi in the ‘Modi surname’ case. Earlier in March 2023, Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the lower house.

After the ongoing meeting in the Lok Sabha Secretariat, a decision has been taken on the reinstatement of Rahul Gandhi’s membership. The Congress party was preparing to go to the Supreme Court for the restoration of Lok Sabha membership. The Congress put full emphasis on the return of Rahul Gandhi to Parliament. The Congress wants Rahul to appear in the Parliament and also be a part of the no-confidence motion starting on August 8.

On the other hand, the last week of the Monsoon session has started in the Parliament amid the no-confidence motion against the government and the discussion on the Delhi Service Bill in the Rajya Sabha.

National Capital Territory of Delhi Amendment Bill 2023 related to transfer and posting of officers in Delhi is going to be presented in Rajya Sabha today. The opposition alliance INDIA is going to be tested in the Upper House of the Parliament.
