‘No comments…’, TMC General Secretary Kunal Ghosh said on allegations of bribe taking against Mahua Moitra

Regarding the bribery case against TMC MP Mahua Moitra, Trinamool Congress State General Secretary Kunal Ghosh has said that his party cannot give any answer in this regard.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Kunal Ghosh said,…No comment… TMC will not say anything on this issue, the answer to this can be given by the concerned person, not the TMC party.” He also said, ”We are keeping an eye on the matter but we can’t say anything right now. Don’t want to comment.

BJP accused Mahua Moitra of taking bribe Accused of asking questions in Parliament. BJP is continuously aggressive on this issue and is saying that either TMC MP Mahua Moitra should give up her Parliament membership or TMC chief Mamata Banerjee should dismiss her.

According to news agency PTI, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala has said that the allegations against Moitra point towards ‘complete crisis of the parliamentary system’. At the same time, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has sought to draw the attention of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to the developments in the case and stressed that ‘immediate action is needed on this.’ TMC has not yet given any official statement on this issue.
