An NIA spokesperson said that these five terrorists are wanted in a case registered against the terrorist activities of BKI with the aim of disturbing the peace and communal harmony of India and spreading terror in Punjab. This case was registered earlier this year.

He said that the wanted terrorists are accused of carrying out terrorist activities in Punjab through drug smuggling and large scale extortion from businessmen and other prominent persons besides raising funds for the banned terrorist organization BKI.
The spokesperson said that investigation has revealed that the five terrorists are engaged in recruiting new members for BKI by promising financial benefits. “They have also established a network of their operatives in different countries to further their terrorist activities in different parts of India,” the officer said.
Rinda is living in Pakistan
Rinda, originally a resident of Maharashtra, is included in the terrorist list and is a member of BKI. He is living in Pakistan. Whereas Landa, Khaira, Satnam and Yadvinder are residents of Punjab.
“Any specific information related to the arrest of the five wanted terrorists can be shared with the NIA headquarters in New Delhi or the NIA branch office in Chandigarh,” the spokesperson said while sharing telephone and WhatsApp numbers.
NIA shared two lists on social media platform ‘X’ with photographs of 54 persons wanted in the investigation of two cases registered last year in a bid to dismantle the terrorist-gangster network in the country.
One list contains the names of 11 persons and the other contains the names of 43 persons. This list includes many wanted gangsters including Goldie Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh Gill.
Sharing the mobile number, the agency said, “If you have any information about properties/assets/businesses owned in his name or by his associates, friends and relatives, please inform on WhatsApp.”
