‘National commission will not be made for men’, Supreme Court dismisses the petition

Supreme Court on Domestic Violence: The Supreme Court on Monday (July 3) declined to entertain a plea seeking a National Commission for Men. The Supreme Court says that no one wants to commit suicide. There are different circumstances in each case. This subject is not such that there is no provision in the law.

Actually, this petition was filed by advocate Mahesh Kumar Tiwari. It was said in the petition that there is an increase in the cases of suicide among married men. Along with this, the data of National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) has been given in the petition. It was also demanded in the petition that a commission should be constituted to understand and solve the problems of men.
