Karnataka government invites Elon Musk’s company Tesla for investment, said- we are ready
Karnataka Government: Karnataka’s Siddaramaiah government on Friday (23 June) invited Tesla Inc, the world’s largest electric car maker, to invest in the state. Also, the government has said that Karnataka is the most suitable place for Tesla to expand in India.
The Karnataka government said that the government and officials here are ready to support Tesla and its enterprises and will provide all necessary facilities. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had earlier said that the company is preparing to make significant investments in India. After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US, Musk said that he considers India as a country with more potential than any other big country in the world.

Elon Musk said that he is planning to visit India in 2024. He said, “I am confident that Tesla will be in India and we will do it as soon as humanly possible. We don’t want to rush any announcement, but I think it is very likely that this will be a significant investment, for India.” There will be a connection.”

Amid rising tensions between China and the US, India is positioning itself as an alternative investment destination for American companies. Musk is looking for a location for Tesla’s next factory. He is looking for possible destinations in France, South Korea and Indonesia. He said that India has strong potential for green energy including solar.
Karnataka a place of possibilities- Minister
State Micro, Small and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil said that if Tesla is considering setting up its plant in India (Karnataka), then it is a destination of great possibilities. Minister Patil said, Karnataka as a progressive state, a center of innovation and technology is ready to provide necessary facilities to other companies of Musk including Tesla and Starlink.
Industries Minister MB Patil said that the state government is focusing on making Karnataka a technology and ‘Manufacturing 5.0’ hub to take Karnataka forward. He said that Karnataka is the ideal place for Tesla’s expansion in India.
