Devendra Fadnavis: Maharashtra’s Deputy CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has once again made a big claim about Sharad Pawar. Fadnavis recalled the scandal that formed the government overnight in 2019 and claimed that Sharad Pawar had a hand in it. According to Fadnavis, the green signal was received from Sharad Pawar to form the BJP-NCP government, but in three-four days he backtracked from his promise and the government fell. Fadnavis said that after Sharad Pawar backed out, Ajit Pawar and he had to take oath early in the morning.

Fadnavis told the whole story
Referring to the swearing-in scandal after the election results in 2019, Fadnavis said that “Uddhav Thackeray started talks with the Congress to form the government after the election results, meanwhile some people from the NCP approached him and said that They are ready to form a stable government. For this a meeting was held with Sharad Pawar, in which it was decided that the government will be formed, for this all powers were given to me and Ajit Pawar. After that we started preparations, taking oath Amidst the preparations, Sharad Pawar took back his decision. Then Ajit Pawar was left with no option but to come with me.”

Devendra Fadnavis further told that Ajit Pawar talked about taking oath with me and said that Sharad Pawar will also be with him after this, but this did not happen. Fadnavis alleged that Sharad Pawar played a double game with him.

Fadnavis was surprised to be made deputy CM
During this Devendra Fadnavis also mentioned about giving him the post of Deputy CM. He said it was a “surprise” to him when last year he was asked to join the Eknath Shinde-led government as deputy CM. However, Fadnavis said that now he sees this decision as absolutely correct. Let us tell you that last year after breaking the Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde formed the government with BJP, then Fadnavis was given the post of Deputy CM instead of CM, for which he was not ready. Finally, on the advice of Amit Shah, he accepted this post.
