It’s a big deal brother… Nishikant Dubey taunts Mahua Moitra, says- ‘Who paid the bill for the hotel in Dubai?’

Cash for enquiries: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey took a dig at Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra on Monday (November 27) over the allegation of asking questions for money. Without taking names, Dubey asked where the money for hotel stay in Dubai came from.

Nishikant Dubey said, who deposited the bill of 5500 dollars for hotel stay in Dubai? The money went from India through cheque? Went to Dubai through Hawala? Mail ID given by the purchasing merchant? It’s a breakup, brother, it’s a breakup.

In fact, Dubey had recently alleged that Moitra took money from businessman Darshan Hiranandani and asked questions related to Adani Group in Parliament. Moitra’s parliamentary account was accessed from Dubai.

The case went to CBI
CBI has registered a preliminary investigation. This is a first step toward determining whether the allegations merit a full-scale investigation. If sufficient prima facie material is found during the preliminary investigation, the CBI can convert it into an FIR.

What is the matter?
Dubey has claimed that Moitra tried to tarnish the image of PM Modi by taking money and gifts from Darshan Hiranandani in the Adani Group case. An affidavit of Hiranandani also came out on Dubey’s allegations. In this he admitted that he had given money and gifts to Moitra.

Rejecting these allegations, Moitra said that false allegations are being made against her for questioning the case of Adani Group.

Regarding this, Mahua Moitra said on Saturday (25 November) that CBI has officially put forward something.
