Apart from all this, Rita Singh’s husband Virendra Singh says that his wife’s standing will not affect his votes. Virendra Singh inherits his political lineage from his father Narayan Singh, a stalwart Congress leader and former party chief in Rajasthan. Since 1980, Congress has won seven out of nine elections in Danta Ramgarh. Narayan Singh had won the seat six times out of these seven and also in 1972.
