Intercaste marriage then extra marital affair! Fed up with her husband, she committed suicide by coming live on Facebook
Woman live streams suicide on Facebook: A shocking case has come to light from Hyderabad. A woman named Sana Khan committed suicide in Nacharam of the state. The woman committed suicide on Friday, 22 June, accusing her husband Hemant Patel and her in-laws of harassment.
Sana committed suicide while telling her problems during Facebook live stream. During this, she alleged that her husband was in an extra-marital relationship with someone else and used to harass her. Along with this, he told that he has a three-year-old son. The Nacharam police have registered a case against the husband and his parents. Police said that the woman’s husband is currently abroad in the island country of Cyprus. Whereas, his mother-in-law and father-in-law live in Rajasthan.
Police have booked all of them under Indian Penal Code IPC sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty). Sana’s mother told that it has been almost five years since her and Hemant’s marriage. It was a love marriage. We objected initially but when she fought for it, we were concerned that she might harm herself and we consented. Sana’s father alleged that Hemant’s parents, who live in Padampur, Rajasthan, had also agreed to the marriage, but whenever she used to visit them, they used to misbehave and harass her.
The extra marital affair started after the woman became pregnant
Sana’s parents told that she used to work in a multinational company in Hyderabad. She and Hemant were very happy in the initial days of their marriage, but after she became pregnant, Hemant’s extra-marital affair started. Because of which a fight started between them. She told that initially she hid all this from us, but about two years ago when she could not bear it, she told. The parents said that they had approached the Nacharam police at least three times. After which counseling of both was done. Apart from this, he said that he also met the elders of Hemant’s family in Rajasthan and in their presence he got assurance from Hemant that he would stop harassing Sana.
He told that after that Hemant went to Cyprus for work, but he used to harass Sana over phone. Apart from this, the person with whom Hemant had a relationship also used to trouble Sana. Nacharam police has registered a case against Hemant and his parents.
