AIMIM News: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has once again attacked the opposition-led INDIA alliance. He said that if he had become a part of this alliance, he would have felt suffocated. Addressing the people in Delhi, Owaisi said that he is not a part of the India alliance. He even said that this alliance should go to hell.
On not receiving the invitation to join the India alliance, Owaisi said that he was not concerned about it at all. Owaisi said, ‘We are not in the INDIA alliance and I don’t even care about it. I would have suffocated there. Why are they not standing against BJP on their ideology? He said that if they give us tickets, they will not get Hindu votes. He said, ‘I am saying these things openly and they say it behind closed doors.’
Muslim League saved Rahul from drowning: Owaisi
While addressing the people, Owaisi also targeted former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi. Owaisi said that Rahul’s sinking boat in Wayanad was saved by the Muslim League when he lost from Amethi seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Amethi is considered the stronghold of the Gandhi family. Amethi has also been Rahul’s traditional seat. However, in the Lok Sabha elections, he lost to BJP leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani on this seat.
Owaisi said, ‘Rahul Gandhi lost in Amethi, but he won in Wayanad. Asaduddin Owaisi did not contest elections there. I did not have any deal with BJP there. He won from Wayanad because there is Muslim League there. Muslim League saved him from drowning.
This is the reason for taunting Rahul
The Hyderabad MP has launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi at a time when the Congress leader recently said something in a veiled manner about him. Rahul said that opposition leaders are being attacked through government agencies. But no case has been registered against AIMIM leaders, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers them as his own.
Addressing a rally in Telangana, Rahul had said, ‘Congress is not only fighting Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), but it is also fighting BJP and AIMIM.’ He had said, ‘There is no case against KCR (K. Chandrashekhar Rao). There is no case against AIMIM. Only the opposition is attacked. PM Modi never attacks his own people. He considers your CM and AIMIM leaders as his own, hence there is no case against him.
