HD Kumaraswamy on Ajit Pawar’s move: A big change was seen in the politics of Maharashtra on Sunday (July 02). Ajit Pawar, who was the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, joined the BJP-led coalition NDA along with several MLAs, leaving his uncle NCP Chief Sharad Pawar. Now political reactions are coming continuously on this.

According to the news agency ANI, former Chief Minister of Karnataka and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy while reacting to this development has taken a jibe at the Congress party in Karnataka. He has said, “After yesterday’s shocking developments in Maharashtra, I fear who will emerge as Ajit Pawar in Karnataka?”

NCP action on many MLAs including Ajit Pawar

On the other hand, while taking action against several MLAs including Ajit Pawar, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has expelled them from the party. Maharashtra NCP President Jayant Patil has said that legal action will be taken if these leaders use the NCP symbol. At the same time, party president Sharad Pawar has also supported this decision of Jayant Patil.

What did Sharad Pawar say?

The NCP chief said, “We will support his decision. We will form a new organization. I do not worry about who went and why, because it has happened many times now. Our organization is standing firmly in the state.

He also talked about not giving importance to Ajit Pawar. Sharad Pawar said, “Even once I had gone abroad, many people had left the party. Even then I was not worried. Ajit Pawar’s decision is personal and his words are of no importance now.”
