Himachal News: Manohar’s dead body was found in 8 pieces, who loved a Muslim girl, the case became a challenge for the CM
Himachal News: In Himachal Pradesh, about 7 months have passed for the government led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. In these seven months, many big challenges came in front of Chief Minister Sukhu. But, till now the biggest challenge for the Chief Minister is to get justice to the family in the Manohar Murder Case. Last week, 21-year-old Manohar was brutally murdered in Saloni of the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. A Muslim family of the area first killed Manohar Lal and then cut the body into 8 pieces and threw it in the drain.
Manohar killed after a fight
According to the information received so far, there was a love affair between 21-year-old Manohar and a girl from a Muslim family. When the family came to know about this, they killed Manohar. For this, the girl first called Manohar to her house. When Manohar reached home, he was thrashed. During the fight, when Manohar was hit on the head with a stick, he died.
The accused cut the dead body into pieces
After this, Manohar’s body was brought into the courtyard and his body was cut into pieces with a sharp weapon. After putting the pieces of the dead body in a sack in the drain, it was thrown into the drain. When the family saw Manohar’s shoe floating near the drain, then they got suspicious. After this, the stone deposited at a place in the drain was removed and Manohar’s body was found there in a sack. Police was called on the spot. Police recovered Manohar’s body. During the post-mortem, pictures of Manohar’s mutilated body also went viral on social media, which shook everyone’s soul.
‘Law and order has broken down in the state’
Since the accused family belongs to the Muslim community. That’s why the Hindu-Muslim angle is also gaining momentum in the matter. The main opposition party of Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party also does not want to let the issue slip out of hand. BJP leaders are continuously demonstrating in Chamba. Apart from this, local people and Hinduist organizations are also agitating to demand the strictest action against the accused family. Recently, former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and Himachal BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal along with their supporters were going to meet the family of the deceased Manohar. Due to Section 144, he was stopped from going there. After this, the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing the government of adopting a dictatorial attitude, announced a grant of five lakh rupees to the family of the deceased. Apart from this, the Bharatiya Janata Party is also raising a demand from the government to provide a government job to the family of the deceased Manohar with the financial assistance of one crore rupees. The BJP alleges that law and order have broken down in Himachal. The BJP says that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s statement of defeating the ideology of the 97 percent Hindu population is motivating the accused to commit the crime.
‘BJP only doing politics in the matter’
Amidst all this, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu says that the Bharatiya Janata Party is only trying to do politics in the matter. Lok Sabha elections are to be held within less than a year. In such a situation, BJP is trying to capitalize on this issue. The Chief Minister has said that the accused were arrested within 24 hours. Despite this, the BJP’s movement is beyond comprehension. Bharatiya Janata Party is doing issueless politics and this is the first time, despite the action of the government, the opposition is engaged in protest. The Chief Minister has advised the opposition to agitate on issues of interest to the state so that the state can benefit from it. Apart from this, on handing over the investigation of former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur’s case to the NIA, the Chief Minister has also asked him to make a demand in writing.
Manohar’s family awaits justice
The Manohar murder case of the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh is no less than a noose around the neck of the government. The flamboyant leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party are not leaving any chance to corner the Congress government. Meanwhile, the government headed by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu not only faces the challenge of providing justice to Manohar’s family but also feels the need to push the dominant opposition to the backfoot. Experts believe that the Bharatiya Janata Party will not let this issue slip out of hand easily and this issue will be seen increasing the problems of the government. At present, Manohar’s family is waiting for justice amidst the politics happening in the case. Manohar Lal’s family is demanding capital punishment for the accused instead of the heinous crime.
