‘G-20 work got done with Delhi government’s funds’, said cabinet minister Saurabh Bhardwaj

G20 Summit: A large scale development work has been done in Old Delhi by the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi regarding the G-20 conference. Saving the legacy of Mirza Ghalib, the renovation work of his mansion has been done. After a decade and a half, the renovation work of the Town Hall has been done. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj and Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi in Delhi Government inspected the works done in Old Delhi.

Corporation officials were instructed to do beautification and lighting in Town Hall, Chandni Chowk, Mirza Ghalib’s Haveli. During this, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that on the instructions of CM Arvind Kejriwal, the corporation and the Delhi government are fully engaged in preparations. Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi said that the main markets of Delhi are symbols of cultural heritage of Delhi. Foreign guests will be aware of our heritage, culture and history through G-20.

Inspection of Chandni Chowk
Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj and Delhi Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi inspected the Chandni Chowk area on Monday (August 28) to take stock of the preparations for the G-20 inside Delhi. First inspected the town hall. It has been repaired by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. It will be decorated before the G-20 summit.

After this, Urban Development Minister and Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi inspected the mansion of Mirza Ghalib. Here also the corporation has done the work of saving Ghalib’s legacy. People coming from abroad will take good memories with this. Along with this, you will be familiar with the history of Mirza Ghalib.

During this, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj and Dr. Shelly Oberoi took stock of the reconstruction work done inside Chandni Chowk by the Delhi government. After the work done by the Kejriwal government, the whole face of Chandni Chowk has changed. Finally, in the late evening, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj and Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi inspected G-20 Park located near M Block Market of Greater Kailash Part-2. The park is decorated with colorful lights.

Delhi Government’s Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “On the instructions of CM Arvind Kejriwal, the corporation and the Delhi government are fully engaged in preparations. CM Arvind Kejriwal believes that whatever foreign guests come to Delhi, they should take with them the hospitality of the people of Delhi and the love of the people of Delhi. Remember the people of Delhi.

He further said, “This is a big opportunity for the country and Delhi. On such an occasion, the Delhi government does not want to leave any stone unturned, so that the name of the country is weakened in any way. Instructions were given to all the departments by the Chief Minister that wherever the tourists come, they should be beautified. Reconstruction has been done on the instructions of CM. The roads have been decorated with greenery and flowers. Delhi is fully prepared for the G-20.

‘Delhi government spending its own money’
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that we Indians have got the opportunity to host the G-20. We will warmly welcome the tourists, so that they remember the hospitality of Delhi. Delhi government is spending its own money on things related to MCD and PWD on things related to Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

Mayor of Delhi Dr. Shaili Oberoi said that Ghalib’s Haveli and Delhi’s main market are symbols of Delhi’s cultural heritage. Local MLAs and councilors are handling the beautification works. It is a matter of pride for us that this time our country has got the opportunity to host the G-20. Preparations have been made at every level in Delhi. From the beautification of the roads, they have been reconstructed. Apart from this, beautification works have also been done in some parks. If the representatives from outside come to the G-20, they will be aware of our precious heritage, culture and history.
