Many stalwarts including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, Omar Abdullah attended the meeting hosted by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

Sources said that in this meeting, when AAP’s national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue of the Centre’s ordinance, former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah turned to him and said why did you not support us on the issue of Article 370. . According to sources, during this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge told Arvind Kejriwal after reading all the statements of his leaders for the last two days and said that you are doing all this only to provoke, whereas what is the need for it.

Controversy over the issue of the ordinance of the Center?

According to sources, Mallikarjun Kharge said that here we have gathered for opposition unity, this is not the issue of this meeting. This is a matter of the Parliament, on which we will discuss and decide in the Parliament. During this, West Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamta Banerjee also interrupted Arvind Kejriwal and told him that it is true that this is not the issue of this meeting, then why are you raising this issue here.

Arvind Kejriwal did not appear in PC of opposition parties

After the meeting was over, the opposition parties also held a joint press conference in which the Aam Aadmi Party did not participate. AAP also issued a statement on its official Twitter handle calling the Centre’s ordinance a black ordinance.

AAP said that 12 of the parties that attended the meeting in Patna have representation in the Rajya Sabha and except the Congress, all others have clearly expressed their stand against the ordinance and announced that they will oppose it in the Rajya Sabha. . The Congress has not yet made public its position on this black ordinance.
