Attack on Chandrashekhar Azad News: Azad Samaj Party-Kanshiram chief Chandrashekhar Azad was discharged from SBD Hospital in Saharanpur on Thursday (June 29). Azad was shot at Deoband in Saharanpur on Wednesday (June 28) which narrowly missed him. After this, he was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition.
In fact, armed men attacked Chandrashekhar Azad’s convoy and a bullet hit him in the back of his stomach. After being discharged from the hospital, he said, “This is not today’s attack, the underprivileged have been attacked for centuries but today there is rule of law. Attacking UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Chandrashekhar Azad further said, “Criminals are still roaming freely, this cannot happen without the protection of power. It is gross negligence of the government. The Chief Minister’s not speaking at all on this incident clarifies that they are protecting criminals.”
According to news agency PTI, City Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik said, “Azad was returning to Chhutmalpur from the house of a party worker in Deoband on Wednesday. When his vehicle was in Deoband area, he came in a car with Haryana number plate.” The assailants fired four rounds at Chandrasekhar, one bullet grazed his stomach. The windshield of the car was also shattered in the firing.”
