Bharat Pavilion ready to welcome guests at G20, presentation on ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ theme song
G20 Summit 2023 in Delhi: Delhi has got ready for the G20 summit. Top 20 countries of the world are reaching Delhi to participate in this summit. Heads of some of these countries have reached Delhi. On the other hand, the remaining guests including US President Joe Biden will reach Delhi by this evening. On September 9, during the dinner program organized by President Draupadi Murmu, the artists will perform together for three hours. During this, the art of India will be displayed in which 78 instrumentalists of the country will present their performance together.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, the music program for the guests of G20 has been conducted by Sandhya Purecha, President of Sangeet Natak Akademi. The cultural program will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan Complex, New Delhi. In this, 78 instrumentalists of the country will simultaneously perform their art for three hours.
There will be 34 Hindustani instruments, 18 Karnataka and 40 folk instruments from different states of India. 11 children, 13 women, 7 Divyang artists, 26 youth and 21 senior artists will participate in this cultural programme. These artists will give a musical performance on the song ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhaara’.
Presentation on theme song ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’
According to the director of the concert, Sandhya Purecha, this concert is the only cultural program in the entire G20 event. Music will be performed with classical musical instruments as well as ancient Vedic musical instruments, tribal instruments and folk instruments. The participating musicians are also from different regions of India, who will play instruments in their traditional costumes.
Many instruments like Surbahar, Jaltarang, Naltarang, Vichitra Veena, Rudra Veena, Saraswati Veena, Dhangali, Sundari, Bhapang and Dilruba will be displayed during the performance. According to the program’s director, these participants from all over the country had reached Delhi on August 31 and were practicing since then. At the end of the program, all the artists will play the theme song ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ of G20.
