Rahul Gandhi Nyay Yatra: Controversy has again broken out in Guwahati in North East Assam during the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra of Congress under the leadership of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. There was a huge clash between Congress workers and the police due to not being allowed to travel in the city.

The administration says that travel is not allowed in the city, whereas Rahul Gandhi’s journey was moving inside the city. This was the reason that later the police put up barricades and due to this the Congress workers accompanying Rahul Gandhi’s bus clashed with the police.

Rahul Gandhi said – being prevented from talking to students

Rahul Gandhi is to interact with students in Guwahati. Congress leader Gandhi has said that he is being stopped from talking to the students.
The administration says that Rahul Gandhi’s yatra is not allowed inside Guwahati city. They have been asked to pass through the outskirts of the city. After the clash, deployment of additional number of police personnel has been increased. After the uproar, an atmosphere of tension has been created in the entire area. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra started from Queens Hotel at around 10 am in the morning. Rahul Gandhi also has a public address to be held in Guwahati. Tuesday is the tenth day of the journey which will be completed in Bishnupur, Assam.

Rahul Gandhi will interact with students after meeting with party leaders
According to the program shared by the Congress, Rahul Gandhi will hold a meeting with the North East Congress Committee at a hotel in Jorabat in Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya. After this, Rahul Gandhi will also hold talks with students and civil society members in Guwahati. The party claimed that the police did not allow them to hold a road show or march in the main city.

Rahul Gandhi will also address a press conference at Damdama in Kamrup district, about 75 km from Guwahati.
