Bad weather from mountain to plain, heavy rain alert for two days in 25 states

There is a possibility of light to moderate rains in Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep.
Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch. On the other hand, in western Rajasthan, the maximum temperature can cross 40 degree Celsius at different places.
