Ajit Pawar’s big statement, ‘Sharad Pawar with BJP decided everything to form government and then…’

NCP Political Crisis: In the midst of the political crisis in the NCP, both the camps called a separate meeting on Wednesday (July 5). Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar addressed them after holding a meeting with the leaders and workers of his faction at MET Bandra, Mumbai. During this, making many big claims, he also took a jibe at Sharad Pawar.

Ajit Pawar said that despite having more MLAs than Congress in 2004, NCP lost the chance of CM post. If we had not given the Chief Minister’s post to the Congress at that time, till now only the Nationalist Congress Party would have been the Chief Minister in Maharashtra. He said that I am always made the villain.

Ajit Pawar made a big claim

He said that after the 2019 elections, Pawar Saheb, I and Praful Patel met BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis at a big industrialist’s house and decided everything about government formation and what happened later, you all know. Making a big claim, the Deputy CM said that even in 2017, Sharad Pawar wanted to form the government with the BJP.

“Wanted to go with BJP in 2017 as well”

He said that Sharad Pawar had sent me, Sunil Tatkare and Praful Patel to Varsha Bungalow to hold talks with Devendra Fadnavis about government formation. Many BJP leaders were present there. We discussed cabinet portfolio allocation and the posts of guardian ministers, but later our party took a step back.

Tense on Sharad Pawar

Taking a jibe at Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar said that leaders in BJP who are 75 years old also retire, but some people do not understand this. Sharad Pawar resigned on 2 May. It was decided that Supriya Sule has to be made the president. We accepted, but what happened then took back the resignation. If you did not leave the post, then why did you resign? I told Supriya Sule many times that you should explain, but Supriya says that father is very stubborn. The question is what is this stubborn attitude.
