Mumbai Murder Case: In Mumbai, a married woman along with her lover killed her husband. The name of the accused woman is Kavita, who killed her husband (Kamalkant Shah) by mixing poison in his food. According to reports, Kavita along with her lover mixed arsenic and thallium in Kamal Nath’s food due to which his health deteriorated.
The incident is of September 3 when Kavita poisoned her husband. After Kamal Nath’s health deteriorated, the family members hurriedly admitted him to the hospital where he died after 17 days. Talking on the matter, the officials of Mumbai Crime Branch said that the police got clues against the accused from the report of Bombay Hospital. After the medical report, a case of murder was registered under sections 302, 328, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and both the accused were taken into custody after investigation. Officials told that both will remain in custody till December 8.

The affair was going on for a decade
Police said, during the initial investigation, the police came to know that Kavita and her lover were having an affair for a decade. Both carried out the incident to get Kamalkant out of the way and get married. According to reports, the deceased Kamalkant Shah married Kavita in the year 2002 with whom he has two children.
