MCD elections: BJP claims deletion of many names from voter list, accuses AAP of conspiracy

MCD Polling 2022: Voting is going on from 8 am for all 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Till 2 pm, 30 percent voting has taken place. In this election, there is a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. Due to the new delimitation, this time some voters are facing problems. In many places, due to non-availability of names of people in the voter list, they had to go back without casting their vote.

Delhi Congress President Anil Chaudhary’s name was also not found in the voter list, due to which he could not cast his vote. Now politics has also started on this matter. Former Delhi BJP president and MP Manoj Tiwari, while targeting the Aam Aadmi Party in this matter, has called it a big conspiracy. The BJP MP has claimed that the Kejriwal government has cut off the votes of BJP supporters. He has claimed that the votes of 450 people were cut off.

Tiwari warned to send to jail

Manoj Tiwari said that ‘many people came to him who complained that their names had been struck off’. He said that the names of 450 people have been deleted. It is a matter of concern that the votes of 450 people have been cut off. This is a conspiracy. The conspirators have a place in jail. AAP party is getting names cut wherever BJP votes are there.
