75 of the 84 councilors who are trying their luck again in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections are such, whose assets have increased by three to 4,437 percent during their tenure. This information has been given by the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) in its report. ADR and Delhi Election Watch analyzed the affidavits filed by 84 re-election corporators, including independents, along with their nominations, and revealed that their average assets during the 2017 civic polls were Rs 2.93 crore.
