Snacking habits increase the risk of heart disease: Do you know how your breakfast can affect your health? A new research has made shocking revelations that both the nutritional value and timing of breakfast have a deep impact on your health. Especially unhealthy breakfast can make you a victim of obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and heart disease. Researchers from the School of Life Course and Population Sciences and health sciences company JOI have analyzed the breakfast habits of 854 people under a project called ‘Joi Predict’. The results of this study have been published today in the European Journal of Nutrition.
Research has shown that despite eating good food, 25% people are eating chips, snacks etc. in breakfast, due to which the benefits of healthy food also get reduced. And this increases the risk of stroke and heart disease. These worrying results indicate that we need to pay special attention to our breakfast habits. Healthy breakfast not only nourishes our body but it also helps in improving our health.

Dr. Sarah Berry of King’s College London said, although 95% of us eat breakfast and 25% of our calories come from breakfast, but if we replace unhealthy snacks like cookies, chips etc. with fruits, nuts etc. then our health will improve. would be better. It is important to have healthy breakfast and breakfast on time. It is not good to have breakfast after 9 pm. But people who do not eat breakfast or eat unhealthy breakfast, their weight increases rapidly and the risk of stroke and heart diseases increases.
