AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal had said on Friday that Hindus should follow the Muslim formula and get their children married at an early age. Ajmal said, “Generally, Muslim men get married at the age of 20-22 and Muslim women also get married at the age of 18 after the age of 18 as fixed by the government.”

On the question of growing Muslim population, he said, “Hindus get married after the age of 40 under parental pressure, so how can one expect that they will beget children after 40? If you sow in fertile soil, only you can produce a good harvest. Then there will be development. Ajmal said that therefore Hindus should follow the Muslim pattern of marriage and get their children married at an early age.
