Gujarat Result 2022: The election results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh came on Thursday i.e. 8th December. The BJP has won a landslide victory in Gujarat, while in Himachal, the BJP claiming victory had to face defeat, but in these elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the face of the BJP on behalf of the party. In the name of PM Modi, BJP has won the fifth consecutive victory in Gujarat.

Do you know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone ahead of former Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi. The number of elections former PM Indira Gandhi had won, now the current PM Modi has gone ahead of her in terms of winning the elections. Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s winning strike rate has become better than Indira Gandhi.

Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi contested 83 elections in 14 states for the Congress from 1966 to 1977 and from 1980 to 1984 in her political career. Of these, Indira Gandhi won 44 out of 83 elections. That is, the strike rate of Indira Gandhi has been 53%. This also means that all the political parties and leaders of that time were seen losing in front of Indira.

On the other hand, if we talk about the electoral victory of the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi, till now BJP has contested 57 elections from 2002 to 2022 on the face of PM Modi. BJP has won 32 out of 57 elections. Whereas, NDA’s is also included in this 5 wins. Means Modi’s strike rate is 56%. PM Modi’s winning strike rate is 3 percent more than former PM Indira Gandhi.

The BJP won 156 out of 182 seats in the Gujarat assembly results that came on Thursday, while the Congress won only 17 seats. New fledgling party Aam Aadmi Party has got 5 seats. Independent candidates have won 3 seats and Samajwadi Party has won one seat in the Gujarat assembly elections. On the other hand, Congress has won 40 out of 68 seats in the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections. In comparison to Congress, BJP won 25 seats and independent candidates won 3 seats.
